Propulo Consulting is seeking a dynamic and organized Ghost Writer & Content Writer Intern to enrich our books, white paers, blog posts, contents and marketing copy.

If you’re familiar with producing content, writing a book or story and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you. Feel free to share samples of your work or portfolio of your published articles, along with your application.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  1. Ghost Writing

  • Working under the direction of our Partner team, develop Safety & Safety Culture articles, books and white papers – content will be designed under their direction and published in their name once reviewed.

  • Conduct industry-related research on related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies).

  • Preparing well-structured drafts of books or articles.

  • Proofread and edit before publication ensuring all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone).

  • Structuring story and content/chapters.

  1. Content Writing & Development

  • Review and enhance current promotional literature and content.

  • Develop a content strategy and research key topics.

  • Coordinate with marketing team to develop and support content schedule.

  • Supporting applied research-related activities, including client efficacy research projects, applied literature reviews, and research publications (e.g. whitepapers, articles and blogs)

  • Develop marketing collateral and copy to support the successful launch of new service introductions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Journalism or English Literature student currently enrolled in a recognized Canadian University with an eligible internship.

  • English language mastery (written/verbal)

  • Ideally prior similar work experience in writing books and content writing preferred. Preference for applied marketing experience in content development.

Working conditions and requirements

    • All work is conducted remotely (Work from home): This position will not be supplied with a computer or hardware for the position and must have their own laptop or computer to work from home

    • Remote interview process

    • Working Period: May 2021 – Aug 2021 (4 months 2021 Summer internship)
